Oleg Zakomorny
Born in 1968 in Novosibirsk (Siberia),
Oleg graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School named after Tomsky in 1986. Oleg graduated from the Moscow State Art University named after Surikov in 1994, and studied at the studio of professor Lev Kerbel. Oleg is a Member of the Moscow Union of Artists and of the Creative Union of Artists since 1996. Oleg regularly participates in exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
Oleg was awarded a bronze medal "For the contribution to our native culture" from the Creative Union of Artists of Russia on presentation of an exhibition "Point of Rest" (showroom "Creativity"). Works of the sculptor are in numerous Moscow museums, as well as in prestigious private collections in Russia and abroad. Today the artist lives and works in Moscow.
Oleg is a master of expressive gesture, at the same time his sculptured forms abound in fantastic images always implying harmony and emotion. Oleg's heroes are actresses, dancers, and constantly refers back to his love of ballet and expressive dance.
